Helga is a 1966 VW Type 1. She has her original 1300 engine and has been converted to a 12 volt electrical system. She purrs like a kitten. Her super unique look is custom and always being updated. Helga’s interior is beige vinyl with a well-worn beige carpet. She seats four with seat belts and five if someone’s feeling adventurous.
Helga has spent most of her life in Southern California; Santa Barbara, Topanga, and the San Fernando Valley. That means she’s almost completely rust-free, although we did have to rid her of hundreds of brown widow spiders. How embarrassing.
